Breastfeeding Clinic Appointment

Do you want support with breastfeeding your baby?
In-person breastfeeding clinic appointments with a Public Health Nurse are available to anyone living in Toronto that requires help with breastfeeding.
Breastfeeding is also known as chestfeeding.
You do not need to have an Ontario health card or health insurance to be seen.

Clinic Notes:

  • By registering for the breastfeeding clinic appointment, you consent to breastfeeding clinic staff reviewing your relevant health records held by Toronto Public Health (TPH) to prepare for the appointment.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow for parking and registration.
  • Wearing a mask is strongly recommended while at the clinic. Masks will be available.
  • Prior to visiting the clinic individuals must review the Health Screening Form Opens in new window .
  • Upon arrival at the clinic, you will be screened for symptoms of respiratory viruses. Stay home if you have symptoms, or are feeling unwell, even if it is a mild cough or sore throat.

Information on this form is collected under the authority of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.7 section 5(2). Registration information submitted through the TPH Bookings system is secure and only authorized staff have access to the system. The information that you provide will be used to generate confirmation and reminder emails and/or text messages.
